Outdoor Dining
Back 40 Ranch House Grill
Back 40 is a favorite dining destination in Heber that provides great food, drinks, and even better views. Everything is locally sourced (like really, really locally) and even their water tastes incredible as it comes from their own well that is over 200 ft. deep, sourced from an artesian aquifer. Their fried chicken is delicious and you can order it as a family to-go meal and it’s always a crowdpleaser. They also have a yurt in the winter. Always an ah-mazing experience at Back 40!
Bandannas Bar & Grill
Located in the Hotel Park City, Bandannas is awesome! Sumptuous hot breakfasts and hearty lunches make Bandannas a favorite among hotel guests and Park City locals and the patio with a view of the rolling hills of the golf course makes it an even better!
Blind Dog Beach
So much more than a sushi bar, they’re also a mountain beach! Dine on their covered patio with mountain views next to a sandy lot for games and to entertain the kids (and well behaved dogs). And they’ve added a whole other side patio this summer! They offer fun nightly specials like Buck-A-Shuck with $1 Oysters and you won’t want to miss the nightly food and drink happy hour specials from 4-6PM. They also have a new side patio, doubling their outdoor options!
Deer Valley Café
The BEST place to meet for lunch or coffee on a beautiful day! Their patio overlooks a lake and you can watch ducks float by and maybe some standup paddleboarders. It’s great place to replenish with delicious food after a hike at Deer Valley, or if it’s an afternoon hike, a great après hike wine spot. They also often have live music to up the ambiance even more!
The Bridge Cafe and Grill
The Bridge Cafe & Grill serves American food with a Brazilian flair. Located directly at the bottom of the Town Lift on Main Street, it has one of Park City’s best patios for spectacular outdoor dining—during both summer and winter! You can ski-in from Park City Mountain to grab a bite to eat and then hop back on the Town Lift—also a great for a scenic after-dinner chairlift ride in the summer! They serve a hearty all-day breakfast and apps, salads, soups, sandwiches, and burgers. I like the breakfast burrinho for some ski fuel.
The Notch Pub
Nestled right in the foothills of the Uintas, you’ll find an unassuming log cabin called The Notch. Offering a wide selection of food and drinks, this is a perfect place to stop after an adventure up Mirror Lake Highway or to just get away. The best part is the large patio, you’ll feel like you’ve found a hidden gem and may contemplate buying a motorcycle!
The St. Regis Deer Valley
Enjoy some fresh mountain air and amazing views at The St. Regis. After you ride the funicular (it’s FUN) up the side of the mountain, sit on the Mountain Terrace to enjoy fine cuisine and signature cocktails. Try the famous 7452 Mary (that’s the elevation!) and stay for the nightly champagne sabering ritual by the fire garden at sunset!
Troll Hallen at Stein Eriksen
My favorite! Located at the picturesque Stein Eriksen, Troll Hallen is my go-to for perfect al fresco Deer Valley lunch. Enjoy seasonal spirits, casual yet upscale fare (this is Deer Valley after all) — all while taking in the ah-mazing mountain views.
